As a fan of comic art for the past 25 years it was almost an imperative that I comment on this upcoming art book packed with decades worth of gorgeous Star Wars art from. Art exhibits » Bicycles, BYU artists and 'Star Wars' among highlights. The far-reaching influence of Star Wars in pop culture of our time cannot be denied. Generally speaking though, when repetition hits comics it shouldn't last too long because the real estate of every page is so small and therefore so valuable. While nothing is set in stone yet, legendary artist Drew Struzan, well known for his work on the Star Wars films, reveals that he has been asked by Disney to paint more artwork for the franchise, including potentially Episode VII. Fans of the comic book renditions of Star Wars will have something to look forward to this October.
